The event will bring together scholars, institutions and international organizations to discuss urban climate adaptation and resilience strategies, focusing on the link between scientific research, urban planning and concrete actions for cities. The programme will include international keynotes, round tables and the presentation of the UCCRN Third Assessment Report on Climate Change and Cities (ARC3.3), addressing climate neutrality, urban resilience and territorial governance challenges. The conference will take place in a hybrid format, both in person and online.

On 3 June 2026, the Department of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II will host the international conference “Climate Change and Cities: Bringing Science into Action”, organized by the UCCRN European Hub in collaboration with the the University of Naples Federico II and Université Gustave Eiffel.
