Diana Reckien, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente (Netherlands), has published a new article in Nature Climate Change exploring how cities can learn from each other to strengthen climate adaptation.
On September 15th, 2025, the Politecnico di Milano hosted the conference “Planning for Climate Neutrality: Governance Models in Dialogue” at the CRAFT – Competence Center for Antifragile Territories (Campus Leonardo) in Milan.
On September 26, 2025, during the European Researchers’ Night in Naples, the innovative board and card game ClimeCraft was presented as an engaging tool to connect research, education, and climate action. Developed within the Erasmus+ UCCRN_edu project, the game uses gamification to promote collaborative learning about climate-resilient urban design and governance. The event, enthusiastically embraced by young participants, highlighted how playful, research-based approaches can foster awareness and inspire future generations to take part in the ecological transition.
